Mpls Police Locate Stolen T.V.

While investigating an alleged marijuana growing operation, Minneapolis police found a stolen T.V.

According to authorities, police were investigating the residence in the 3300 block of Girard Avenue on Tuesday, July 12. Police said they obtained a search warrant, recovered the T.V. and looked for a 17" Sony laptop that had also been stolen along with the T.V.

Post-Shutdown: State Parks Reopen Across Minnesota

If you're planning a trip to a state park this weekend, you could be in luck.

As of Friday morning 57 state parks are either open, or partially open following the end to the government shutdown. More parks are expected to reopen throughout the day.

Dodd Boulevard, Lane Restrictions Next Week in Lakeville

Dodd Boulevard between Highview Avenue and Cedar Avenue will be restricted to one lane for pavement surface mill and overlay.

It will be restricted July 26 and July 27 from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. each day.

Dodd Boulevard between Gerdine Path and Pilot Knob Road will be restricted to one lane the following day, on July 27 through July 29, also from 7:00 a.m until 7:00 p.m.

3 More Indicted in Cook Ponzi Scheme

Three more associates of convicted Ponzi schemer Trevor Cook face federal charges.

An indictment unsealed Wednesday charges 41-year-old Jason Bo-Alan Beckman of Plymouth, 60-year-old Gerald Durand of Faribault and 73-year-old Patrick Kiley of Burnsville with wire fraud, mail fraud, conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, and money laundering.

Burnsville Man Sentenced For Taking Inappropriate Photos of Minors

A Burnsville man was sentenced to 150 days in jail Tuesday and 10 years probation for taking pictures under young girls skirts.

Dean Lindo pleaded guilty to three counts of interfering with the privacy of a minor in June.

Police say he took hundreds of graphic pictures of five to 12-year-old girls at places like the library, parks and a zoo.
