Burnsville School HR Director Gets Big Payout in Departure

A severance agreement between the Burnsville school district and its human resources director paid her more than $250,000 seven months after she signed a new contract.

A high school girl hurt playing hockey last month just made a big step forward in her recovery. According to her CaringBridge page, Jenna Privette can now feel and move her upper legs. Her family says she was even able to go shopping for a few hours last week.

The St. Croix Lutheran senior was hurt during a game last month and was paralyzed from the waist down.

Father, Son Accused of Stealing Diesel Fuel from Construction Site

A father and son were arrested after allegedly stealing diesel fuel from construction equipment at an Empire Township construction site early Thursday morning.

Prosecutors charged 47-year-old Gennadi Krimouski of Apple Valley and 25-year-old Maksim Krimouski of Savage with theft, possession of theft tools and tampering with a motor vehicle.
